You must install Pixyz Plugin in all the Unity projects in which you want to use Pixyz Plugin.


Pixyz Plugin contains three packages that you must install in this order:


  1. The Pixyz API
  2. Pixyz Commons
  3. Pixyz Plugin for Unity

Uninstall previous versions

If you installed a previous version of Pixyz Plugin in a Unity project, delete it before installing the new version.


You must uninstall Pixyz Plugin in the same way you installed it:

  • If you installed Pixyz Plugin using the Package Manager, uninstall it using the Package Manager.
  • If you installed Pixyz Plugin from a .unitypackage file, follow these steps:
    1. Close the Unity Editor.
    2. Delete all the files from the Pixyz Plugin folder.
      This folder is located in this folder of your Unity project:
      /Assets/Plugins
    3. Reopen the Unity Editor.

Install Pixyz Plugin

To install Pixyz Plugin in a Unity project, follow these steps:


  1. From the Pixyz website, sign in and download the .zip file from the product download page.
    This .zip file contains the three packages of Pixyz Plugin.
  2. Uninstall previous versions of Pixyz Plugin before you install Pixyz Plugin 2022.1 in a Unity project.
  3. Extract the zip file.
    The Pixyz Plugin 2022.1 rX folder contains three .tgz files:
    1. com.unity.pixyz.api-win-1.0.0.tgz
    2. com.unity.pixyz.commons-1.0.0-pre.1.tgz
    3. com.unity.pixyz.plugin4unity-1.0.0-pre.1.tgz
  4. Open a Unity project, then open the Package Manager.
  5. In the Package Manager window, click the Plus sign (+) in the status bar and choose Add package from tarball from the add menu.
  6. Install the Pixyz Plugin packages in this order:
    1. Pixyz API
    2. Pixyz Commons
    3. Pixyz Plugin4Unity
