What is it ?
Pixyz Loader for Unity is a Unity package containing an API capable of importing a .pxz file into a Unity scene at runtime.
This product can also be used to create prefabs programmatically in Unity Editor from a .pxz file.
This product is delivered as a pkg for Unity and is FREE to use.
You will need a Pixyz Studio or Pixyz Scenario Processor product to convert your original 3D/CAD/PointCloud files into .pxz files, before importing them into Unity.

1. Why using Pixyz Loader ?
When you want to offer your users the capacity to import 3D/CAD/PointCloud data into your runtime application with a C# script.
When you want to script 3D/CAD/PointCloud imports in Unity Editor.
2. Licensing
This product is delivered as a pkg for Unity and is FREE to use.
As Pixyz format may evolve with future main releases, you may need to update your Pixyz Loader also to guarantee full compatibility between all Pixyz Products.
3. ISVs
You can freely embed, the Pixyz Loader, provided you respect the General terms and conditions, here that are the same for all our products.
Your end-users won't need to do any specific enrolling towards the Unity or Pixyz website to use the functionality in your product.
4. Known issues
Animations contained in .pxz files are not imported in Unity when Pixyz Loader is used.
Surface patches present in a .pxz file can have a significant rendering performance impact in your Unity scene. We advice you to delete patches from your 3D model in your Pixyz Studio or Scenario Processor.
